Rules & Policy at The Kind Resort 

  • General Courtesy

    1. Check-in and Check-out: 

    Check-in: 2pm 

    Check-out: 11am 


    Please adhere to these times unless prior arrangements have been made. 


    2. Noise Levels: Maintain a peaceful atmosphere by keeping noise to a minimum, especially during the quiet hours from 10pm-7am. 


    3. Guest Limit: Only the registered number of guests are allowed to stay in the room. Visitors of guests are not permitted after 8pm. 


    4. Guest Visitors: All visitors of our check in guest must leave a valid ID and sign the Guest Visitor Form at the front desk. 


    5. Security Deposit: 2000 PHP security deposit is required upon check-in. This deposit is refundable upon check-out, provided there are no damages, missing items, or rule violations. 

  • Room Care

    6. Room Occupancy:  Each Room accommodates a minimum of 2 guests and a maximum of 4 guests 


    Additional Bedding Charges: If additional bedding is required, an extra charge will apply 


    7. Children Policy: Children 10 years old and below are not subject to additional charges as long as no extra bedding required. 


    Children 11years old and above are considered adults and will automatically be charged extra beddings. 


    8. Family Suite: Our 3 Bedroom family suite can accommodate minimum of 8 to maximum of 10. 


    Exceeding the 8 will be automatically charge extra beddings. 


    9. No Smoking: All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in the designated area by the parking in front of the resort. A cleaning fee of 2000 will be charged for violations. 


    10. No Cooking: Cooking inside the room is not allowed. 


    11. Bringing in outside food and drinks are not allowed. 


    12. Furniture & Décor: Please do not move or rearrange furniture or décor. Any damages will be charged to your account. 


    13. Towels & Linens: Resort towels and linens are for in-room use only. Kindly avoid using them at the beach or pool area. 


    14. Pool towels: They are available at the house keeping area kindly request when needed and return towels after use. 


    15. Energy Conservation: Turn off lights, air conditioning, and electrical appliances when not in use of when leaving the room. 

  • Beach and Resort Etiquette

    16. Sand-Free Zone: Rinse off sand at the outdoor showers and foot wash before entering your room or swimming on the pool. 


    17. Eco-Friendly Practices: Avoid using single-use plastics. Use the recycling bins provided and help us protect the natural beauty of our beach. 


    18. No littering. 

  • Safety and Security

    19. Valuables: The resort is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Pls always keep your valuables safe. 


    20. Doors and Windows: Always lock doors and windows when leaving the room or retiring for the night. 

  • Prohibited Activities

    21. Parties and Events: Parties or loud gatherings are not allowed in the rooms. 


    22. Pets: Pets are not allowed in the Resort 


    23. Illegal Activities: Any illegal activity or substance is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the property. 

  • Food and Drinks Policy

    24. Plant-based Resort Policy: The Kind Resort is a 100% Plant-based resort. We are proud to offer fully vegan menu through our café and restaurant within the resort. 


    25. Outside Food and Drinks: Bringing outside food and drinks is prohibited. 

  • Swimming Rules

    1. Swimming Hours: The Pool is open from 7am-8pm. Please respect the schedule. 


    During acoustic night our pool is closed early at 7pm to give way for the setup and preparation for the acoustic. 


    2. Swimwear: Proper swimwear is required (no jeans, cutoffs, or non-swim fabrics). 


    3. Showering: Guests must shower before entering the pool 


    4. Children: Children under 12 years old must be always accompanied by an adult. 


    5. No Diving and Canon Ball: Diving is not allowed as the pool depth may not be suitable. 


    6. No Peeing in the pool: For Hygiene and cleanliness, please use the restroom before swimming.    Our pool is a shared space, and keeping it clean ensures a pleasant experience for everyone. 


    7. Quiet Hours: Avoid loud noise to maintain the resort’s serene atmosphere. 

  • Health and Safety

    8. Lifeguard On Duty: Our lifeguard is on duty 8am-8pm only. 


    9. No Glassware: Glass containers or bottles are not allowed in the pool area. 


    10. No Food or Drinks in Pool: Please enjoy food and drinks at the designated areas only. 


    11. Health precautions: Do not use the pool if you have open wounds, skin infections, or illnesses. 


    12. First Aid Kit are available at the reception area if needed. 

  • Environmental Care

    13. Eco-Friendly products: Use sunscreen or lotions that are reef-safe to protect the marine environment 


    14. Cleanliness: Dispose of trash in the bins provided in the pool area. 

  • Prohibited Activities

    15. Smoking and Alcohol: Smoking is not permitted in the pool area. Alcohol consumption is allowed only in designated area. 


    16. Inflatable Toys: Use of large inflatable toys is discouraged to ensure ample space for all guests. 

  • Beach Policy

    17. No Lifeguard on Duty: The beach area is not monitored by a lifeguard. Guests are responsible for their own safety while swimming. 


    18. Weather and Tides: Check weather conditions and tide schedules before entering the water. Avoid swimming during rough seas or strong currents. 


    19. Buddy System: Always swim with a companion. Solo swimming is discouraged for safety reason. 


    20. Stay Close to Shore: Avoid swimming too far out, even if you are an experienced swimmer. 


    21. No Night Swimming: Swimming in the ocean after dark is prohibited. 


    22. Marine Life Awareness: Be cautious of marine creatures, such as jellyfish, sea urchins, stone fish, sword fish, sting ray, and other potential hazards. Avoid touching or disturbing them. 


    23. Proper Attire: Wear appropriate swimwear and consider using water shoes to protect your feet from rocks and marine life. 


    24. Children’s Supervision: Children under 12 years old must be always supervised by an adult. 


    25. Respect the Environment: Do not litter, remove shells, or disturb coral and marine life. Help us keep the beach pristine. 


    26. No Alcohol: Swimming under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. 

  • General Policy

    Reservation Confirmation: 100% of payment is required to confirm your booking. 


    Cancellation Notice: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through the contact details provided at the time of booking.

     


    Cancellation Fees and Refund 


    7 Days or More Before Check-in: A full refund of your deposit will be issued. 


    6 Days Before Check-in: The deposit is non-refundable. 


    No- Show or Early Check-out: No refunds will be issued for no-shows or unused nights/hours to early departure. 



    Special Circumstances 


    Force Majeure Events: If cancellations are due because of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstance beyond the guest’s nor the resort’s control, we will work with you to reschedule your stay or offer a refund, subject to management approval. 


    Changes to bookings: Any modifications to your reservation (e.g., changes in date, room types, or guest numbers) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. 



    Refund Process 


    Refund will be processed within 7-14 business days of the cancellation confirmation. 


    Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
